Guardian Children's Fiction Prize - winner

The winner of the Guardian's Children's Fiction Prize has been announced and it is...Exposure by Mal Peet.

  1. Only ones I've heard of here in Canada are Nation (haven't read it yet) and Genesis, which I have a review copy of, and am looking forward to reading. Just looked at the winner. Can't say a book about soccer would be my style, even if it's a take on Shakespeare!

  3. There's no overlap with the Booktrust shortlist so I wonder if they have different entry requirements?

  4. Nicola - I would have agreed with you, but only until I read Exposure. Try it, or if you really can't bear the idea of football, read Mal's Tamar first.
