Favourite Reads of 2009

Here are my top ten favourite YA reads of 2009. The links go to my reviews on this blog. The stand-out book for me was Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher which moved and gripped me in equal measure.

  3. I agree The Summoning, The Graveyard Book and The Forest of H & T are all Fabulous! I haven't read any of the others, well, except Twilight, but I'll keep silent on that one.

  4. I must read The Vanishing of Katharina Linden. It sounds really interesting. The Graveyard Book is so original. Loved it.

  5. Thirteen Reasons Why sounds a really unusual concept - must have a look at it. And I didn't realize you could get Roswell books - thank you! Can't wait to remind myself of this great story...

  6. re Roswell books - I confess I've had the first two for about ten years! The library also has a few in the series and ebay has the rest quite cheaply thankfully. I loved the tv series - especially the first season - it went a bit complicated later on with clones and things and the books so far are more like S1. I've now read the first three.
